I grow weary of the constant national tumult over emotion-laden drivel, often based on lies.
That’s not to say that Trump shouldn’t give his tweeting fingers a break. Has anyone ever made it so easy for the opposition to attack them?
Michael Brown did not have his hands up and scream “Don’t shoot!”. All the evidence says he was assaulting Officer Wilson. Even Eric Holder and Loretta Lynch’s Department of Justice couldn’t garner enough evidence to charge the officer. And yet, the residents, and a lot of out-of-towners, destroyed their own city and the Nation had to endure yet another finger-wagging lecture from Obama. All because a lie gained traction in the lefty media to the point that we had to see variations of this on our TV screens:
I’m sorry but those ladies look dumb as fence posts doing that.
Now we are having another national conniption because some people are kneeling for the national anthem before football games. And this, too, is based on a lie. When Kaepernick first started sitting and kneeling for the anthem, he was hours away from being cut by the 49ers. This is wasn’t about “injustice” or “racism”. He needed something to distract from the fact that he lost the ability to do his job and when asked why he wasn’t standing for the anthem, he pulled the whole protest thing right out of his keester. I GUARANTEE you that his first kneeldown was a protest over nothing more than looking at the unemployment line.
Should Colin Kaepernick be on an NFL roster based on talent? In a league that features the likes of Mike Glennon, Brian Hoyer and Jared Gofff – yep, he probably should. And the Ravens were going to bring him on until his dumbass girlfriend referred to Ray Lewis as a pretty much a “house Negro” on a tweet. So, you know what? Actions have consequences.
Michael Wilson was not a gentle giant kneeling on the ground with his hands on his head until he was executed by a police officer in full KKK regalia. Freddy Gray was not taken on a rough ride in the back of a police van by 6 officers with blood dripping from their fangs, 3 of whom were black, in an attempt to kill him. And Colin Kaepernick, is not oppressed.
The statistics do not back up the claims by the protesters. They just don’t. Are some young black guys killed unjustly by the cops? Yes, just like some young white men and some young Hispanic men are killed by the police.
If your movement is based on a lie, then your movement is illegitimate.
Maybe some of them could kneel for bakers persecuted for not making wedding cakes. Just a thought.
Off-topic – Congrats to the left, though. Making fans ignore the NFL is a much quick way of shutting the whole thing down than waiting on the concussion outrage to bear fruit.
The left – if you want to destroy your body and mind with a needle, they will supply you with a clean needle with which to do it and give you a safe space to shoot up, staffed with tax-payer funded medical personnel in case you overdose.
If you want to destroy your mind and body playing football, though, while making a few million in the process and living the high life, they’ll try and take that away from you.
