Stamford, CT elected a tranny. And now the city government will no longer use the completely harmless and utterly inoffensive words ‘his/her’ and ‘he/she’ in their rules of order. This tranny worship is becoming pathological.
How do seemingly normal people fall all over themselves to accommodate this nonsense?
Why do we expect people who are so screwed up in such a significant aspect of their life to act perfectly rational and logical in every other aspect?
From the Stamford Advocate (note the flowing heroic prose):
After Danica Roem became the first transgender woman elected to the Virgina House of Delegates, beating a long-seated incumbent who had proposed an anti-trans bathroom bill, its Republican leader pushed to end the practice of calling delegates “gentleman” and “gentlewoman.”
Conservative lawmakers said it was time to end the 400-year-old tradition, while Democrats blasted the change – and Republicans – for what they saw as a refusal to acknowledge Roem as a transgender woman, according to a Washington Post report.
Regardless of the intent, the change wound up in sync with the growing movement toward gender neutral langauage, said Jay Wu, spokesperson for the National Center for Transgender Equality. Now Stamford’s legislature is getting onboard, removing the “he/she” and “his/her” from its rules of order in a measure proposed by Connecticut’s first transgender lawmaker weeks into her first term.
The city’s Board of Representatives voted last week to replace the gender pronouns with specific titles, such as president and clerk, to make the board’s governing document more LGBTQ inclusive.
Much more at the link, if you have the stomach for it. The writing is pretty over the top.
